1. Acceptance of Terms

By downloading, installing, or using Moonfox (the "App"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service ("Terms"). If you do not agree, please do not use the App. These Terms apply alongside our Privacy Policy.

2. Nature of the Service — IMPORTANT

Divination results are symbolic, subjective, and influenced by AI model behavior. They have no proven predictive validity. Any decisions you make based on App content are entirely your own responsibility.

3. Eligibility

You must be at least 13 years old (or 14 in China) to use the App. By using Moonfox, you represent that you meet this requirement.

4. License to Use

We grant you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable license to install and use the App for personal, non-commercial purposes on devices you own or control.

5. Restrictions

You agree not to:

• Reverse engineer, decompile, or attempt to extract source code from the App.
• Use the App for any unlawful, fraudulent, or abusive purpose.
• Submit content that is illegal, hateful, harassing, defamatory, or violates third-party rights.
• Interfere with the operation of the App or its underlying services (e.g. our servers, AI providers, ad SDKs).
• Resell, sublicense, or commercially exploit any output of the App without prior written permission.

6. AI-Generated Content

Interpretation text is generated by third-party large language models (DeepSeek for the China version; OpenAI / Google AI for the international version). Such content may be inaccurate, inconsistent, or contain errors. We do not warrant the accuracy, completeness, or fitness for any particular purpose of the AI-generated text.

7. Advertising

The free version of the App displays banner advertisements served by third-party SDKs (AdMob in the international version; Pangle / GroMore in the China version). We do not endorse advertised products and are not responsible for the content of those ads.

8. Intellectual Property

The App, including its source code, design, brand, icons, and original content, is owned by Quantus Studio and protected by applicable copyright and trademark laws. Classical I Ching texts are in the public domain.

9. Disclaimer of Warranties

THE APP IS PROVIDED "AS IS" AND "AS AVAILABLE", WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, EITHER EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING BUT NOT LIMITED TO MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, OR NON-INFRINGEMENT. We do not guarantee the App will be uninterrupted, error-free, or free from harmful components.

10. Limitation of Liability

TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, IN NO EVENT SHALL QUANTUS STUDIO BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES, OR ANY LOSS OF PROFITS, DATA, USE, OR GOODWILL, ARISING OUT OF OR IN CONNECTION WITH YOUR USE OF — OR INABILITY TO USE — THE APP.

11. Termination

We may suspend or terminate your access to the App at any time, with or without cause or notice, including for breach of these Terms. You may stop using the App at any time by uninstalling it.

12. Changes to These Terms

We may revise these Terms from time to time. The "Last updated" date at the top reflects the most recent version. Continued use of the App after changes constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.

13. Governing Law

For users in mainland China, these Terms are governed by the laws of the People's Republic of China. For users outside mainland China, these Terms are governed by the laws applicable to your jurisdiction, without regard to conflict-of-law principles.
